LEE FIELDS "FUNKY SCREW" ORIGINAL U.S. 7" ANGLE 3 RELEASE # A-1004 - SUPERB CONDITION
A stunning Funk nugget from 1974 and rare as rocking horse shit! ORIGINAL U.S. pressing, catalogue # A-1004, were it not for one minor visible surface scratch this would be graded pretty much mint condition! Said mark is inaudible and does not affect playability whatsoever so I reckon this is as good a copy as you're likely to find. I've photographed the disc on a white background so you can properly evaluate just how good it's condition really is.
One of funk's longest standing representatives, Fields continues to contribute to myriad genres, including contemporary acts like Kraak & Smaak. On this groove tight swings and frenetic horn work give both sides a real JBs thrust while The Devil's Personal Band are allowed to let loose on their own on the flipsdie "The Bull Is Coming".
