As with almost all rock live recordings, a differentiated, fine-grained picture is not possible, but who knows this high-energy record, understands why! Page, Plant, Jones and Bonham offer pure power here, barely allow the listener to breathe. And it is precisely here that the powerful soundscape makes it clear that this reissue offers considerably more than other pressings that have brought the energy of "The Song Remains The Same" only to a limited extent.
