Description
So, after five decades of collecting vinyl and Hi-Fi, the time has finally come to downsize. Over the next few months, with great reluctance, I will be gradually selling off my treasured collection of records, cds and hi-fi equipment. It will take a while !!! For instant sale is an excellent condition copy of the first UK pressing from 1970 of the 'LED ZEPPELIN lll' album by LED ZEPPELIN. It is on the ATLANTIC label and has the catalogue number 2401002. A genuine UK first pressing, it has the following as described on and taken from Discogs :
Specific to the first pressing;
(1) 2401002 (on labels)
(2) Produced by Jimmy Page, Executive Producer: Peter Grant (credited on top half of labels)
(3) Warner Bros. Music Ltd.
(4) Matrix numbers end with A5 and B5.
The sleeve is in excellent condition for its age with just a few small creases, a bit of cornerwear and edgewear and a small split on the bottom edge which you can see in photo 2. The spine is sharp, clear and fully readable. The 'wheel' is in excellent condition and rotates freely. Please study all the photos carefully to see the condition for yourself. The labels are in very good/excellent condition with some age-related 'spotting' and a few 'spindle trails'. The record is also in excellent condition and plays really well with only occasional light surface noise and very occasional 'pops'. Definitely no deep scratches, 'sticks' or 'jumps'. I honestly think that you would be hard-pressed to find a better example of this excellent album. The album will be wrapped in bubblewrap before posting to ensure that it does not get damaged on its journey.
