Description
L.A. Rocks
Cocaine / Reach Out
Label: Rock Records 001
Year: 1979
Going to defer to my pal Teenagegurls' description of this 'un: "Completely undocumented and, prior to a few years ago, unknown to even exist, this, the lone DOUG MOODY produced single by obscure L.A. hard rockers L.A. ROCKS, represents the FIRST recorded musical moments of later LONDON and W.A.S.P. rockers MICHAEL WHITE & RANDY PIPER! Absolutely ripping, punk-metal cross-over, this single’s obscurity is absolutely inexplicable as the top-side, ’Cocaine,’ is likely to appeal to hard rock and heavy metal, glam and punk collectors equally while the flip-side, 'Reach Out,' presages MICHAEL WHITE's later ROBERT PLANT tributes with THE WHITE." Never issued in picture sleeve.
Listen to "Cocaine":
Condition: */EX (sleeve/vinyl)
M (mint) is reserved for unplayed, flawless stock copies. M- (mint minus) is the highest grade for a record in beautiful shape. EX (excellent) means there's a minor flaw on the sleeve (small crease, price sticker) or disc (fingerprint, harmless scratch). VG+ (very good plus) means a sleeve has minor shop wear — is creased and/or shows a ring impression, and the disc shows cosmetic signs of handling. VG (very good) means not for the anal-retentive. The sleeve shows multiple flaws (sticker tear, seam split, ring wear, rumpled top) and the disc has surface noise (no skips or thunderous pops) and multiple small scratches. VG- (very good minus) means the sleeve is "well loved" with numerous flaws while the vinyl is exhibits many flaws and is noisy. G (good) means the sleeve contains major flaws such as large tears, heavy staining, etc., while the vinyl is beat but playable with no skips.
