Here we have a very rare original copy of Kool and The Gang's Self Titled debut album from 1969. This album was the funk band's first studio album. This particular copy is the true 1st issue pressed on the black De-Lite label. There is no extra text mentioning the song "The Gang's Back Again" and the track "Let The Music Take Your Mind" is absent from the album.
The record is in borderline VG/VG- condition, with a good amount of surface scratches and notable scuffs. The record has a few slightly feelable scratches, but the record plays through without skipping. The record plays well with the occasional pop and crackle. The cover is in VG condition, with some ring wear, edge wear, and some staining on the back cover. The bottom seam has been repaired with tape. Please see all the pictures to determine the condition.
