Up for auction is an amazingly rare original Koobas LP, UK original stereo pressing on the Columbia/EMI label. An outstanding piece of psych music and history.
The record is in true excellent condition. Beautiful, shiny wax with gorgeous labels. There are only a few ticks towards the end of side two, but no visible scratch (most likely an original pressing imperfection). Other than that, it plays beautifully. A sonic gem.
The cover has seen some wear over the years. You can see by the scans that there are several imperfections (slight discoloration, ring wear, edge wear, corner wear, lamination issues that accompany UK covers of this time period), but it is intact. My scanner is a professional grade scanner, so it's going to be unforgiving on any flaws. This is good and bad: good that it shows you any and all flaws, but bad in that it detracts from the piece as a whole. I would grade the cover VG-. As rare as this piece is, it is very acceptable. But if you are looking for a mint cover, this is not it. Overall, this record is truly a superb play copy. Also comes with the original inner sleeve, and I will place the record in a new VPI/MOFI-style inner sleeve.
