Description
Here for auction: Knappertsbush. Wagner "Die Walkure". SXL 2074-5. ED1 "original recording by" label's. EX/EX. Side 1 5E side 2 1K side 3 1E side 4 4K
I have checked parts of the discs for sound quality on a Thorens TD160 super with SME Mk III arm and B&O MMC II cartridge, Roksan Kandy RA Mark III amp and B & W DM 603 floorstander's. I hope this gives a fair representation of the disc's quality in the description below.
Vinyl is in easliy EX condition.Sides 1, 3 & 4 are really clean with a nice shine,and are unmarked except for a few very wispy paper scuffs which have absolutely no effect on the sound.Side 2 is the same but it has two small scratches which can be felt.The first tics (not too loudly) for one minute and the second, which is lighter, gives just a few soft tics...The discs lie flat and have no warping or kinks...And sound quality is very fine indeed with clear and undistorted reproduction.In fact the sound is AWESOME.And surfaces are near silent. A fine copy.
Box is EX condition. Still in nice condition. Some light edge rubbing otherwise fine.

Label's EX+ Only a few light spindle marks and no other marks or blemishes at all.
