CONDITION
Disc
Labels: VERY GOOD +
Both are clean and bright with numerous spindle marks around each centre hole but no writing, stickers or missing paper.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Extremely clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces where the only significant blemishes visible in strong daylight are a single harmless/light fingernail scuff line on side 1 together with two non-feelable marks & a light turntable scuff mark on side 2. Closer inspection directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals little more than some faint wispy paper-type hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal and a sparkling rainbow shine. This high-quality heavy disc lies 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
Despite having been played many times, the magnificent mono mix shines throughout this superb sounding disc. My single careful play-check found the disc to be completely free form any groove/play wear or any other annoying audible distractions. In fact, apart from a touch of light background between tracks, there really is little to fault here. I have graded conservatively to avoid disappointment.
Cover: VERY GOOD
A respectable example of this extremely fragile cover. The delicate front leaf is clean & flat with some inevitable edge wear which is mainly confined only to the upper edge. The corners are in good shape with just minor shelfwear to the lower two and no heavy bumps or bruising. The rear panel is just as clean with some light marks from storage but no significant wear.
The inside of the gatefold is bright and unfaded with the only fault being a small 8mm tear to the lower edge of the central hinge and a 3mm one to the upper end. All seams of the rear pocket are unstressed & unsplit.
There is a 2.5cm section of wear mid-way down the spine but all the lettering is present and readable.
Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD +
Some age-toning to the paper but otherwise clean & flat with no writing, seam splits or tears.
