Killswitch Engage "Alive or Just Breathing" on 12” Vinyl.
Ultra rare and out of print/discontinued.
This album was originally released in 2002 on Roadrunner Records. It’s such a pioneering record which put metalcore on the map and Launched Killswitch’s career!
To celebrate the 15th anniversary of its release roadrunner pressed a limited batch of 12” vinyl in 2017. They sold out fast and I was lucky enough to land one!
This was the only time this album had a vinyl release.
This is it, it’s remained pretty much untouched for the past 6 years, stored in a record case under lock and key.
The record has only been played once!
It sounded dynamically brilliant. Better than the CD, absolutely powerful.
I carefully opened (shrink wrap) one side of the gatefold sleeve. Just so that I could slide the inner sleeve and vinyl out. From the first play everything was carefully put back together and then put away for safe keeping.
Today just to take the photos is the second time that the vinyl has been removed from sleeve. I have also carefully removed the inner insert to photograph. Once again everything is put back together in its original state.
As you can see from the photos the shrink wrap is still intact around 3 of the edges. I can also confirm that the actual gatefold has never been open (as still sealed around edges). The inner gatefold looks to show all lyrics.
This is essentially a genuine mint copy with only one play ever! These rarely come up for sale and will continue to go up in price. I’ve set the Buy it Now at £250 as there’s evidence of this value for a used copy. This is practically new, crisp mint and clean throughout!
