On offer here is an EXTREMELY RARE original issue of the second EP by Melbourne-based BEAT-POP group, THE BLUE JAYS (aka THE Fabulous BLUE JAYS), who were also renowned for backing TONY WORSLEY during live performances and on his 1964-65 recordings.  This EP contains the group’s second & third singles, “Motivate” & “Zoom-Gonk”.  Side 1 includes vocals; Side 2 is INSTRUMENTAL.

front: VG++ matt finish with glossy appearance: insignificant ring-wear impression (inner rim – hard to see), minimal creasing (along spine, top & bottom seams, inner rim), barest minimum of scuffing (along top & bottom seams), surface rubbing, minor spot stain (bottom-left), tiny nick along opening edge (towards top), initials ‘RP’ on cover (top, 55mm from spine).

back: VG++ flipback—matt finish with glossy appearance: insignificant ring-wear (inner rim – hard to see), minimal creasing (along spine, top & bottom seams), surface rubbing, few minor spot stains.

Record:

M- visual: beautiful glossy sheen—exceptional, few insignificant hairlines only (seen under strong light); audible: sounds superb despite some insignificant underlying surface noise.  A HIGHLY ENJOYABLE LISTENING EXPERIENCE! ; labels: moderate spindle wear.
