Description
Kaleidoscope Tangerine Dream original copy on Fontana Records from 1967. Firstly there are three faults with this copy. There is a scratch on side 2 track 2, Dear Nellie Goodrich. It's not horrendous, it just clicks as the track goes by and lasts for about half the duration of the song. At the start of side 1 track 6, Murder Of Lewis Tollani, there is a noise like static that comes in briefly 3 or 4 times. Strangely it sounds like a pressing fault. I can see nothing wrong with the vinyl. It sounds integral to the vinyl and not separate from it if you see what I mean. The other thing is to do with the sleeve. There is the faintest bit of writing on the wrap-around at the top right of the back cover (see pic 5). Otherwise this is a superb copy. The rest of the vinyl is good and clean and the pressing is actually fantastic, really loud and clear with a lovely full bass end. The sleeve is clean and not really worn in any way except very slightly on the corners. I always look after my records and since the early 1980's I started storing them in plastic covers and poly-lined inners for the vinyl. The labels are perfect. I have owned this since 1976 and I got hold of it thinking it was actually a Tangerine Dream album called Kaleidoscope. There was very little info to be found back then, all a bit confusing.
