Description
The original inner sleeve is included. It is no longer even close to being bright white if it originally was manufactured to be so. Like an old book where the pages become yellowed with time, it's hard to prevent material like this from gradually degrading. However, it is still completely intact, and lined with an inner polymer that i find keeps vinyl in much better shape than a simple paper sleeve. The good news is that this polymer lined sleeve has kept this LP in excellent+ condition especially for its age. Even under bright light I see no signs of even light scratches. It only escapes Mint condition for it does not look essentially pristine/unplayed. When scrutinizing every last inch of the vinyl it becomes clear that it was very rarely played, if at all. The polymer has even kept away those small hairlines or common sleeve scuffs that can be found from shuffling around in a paper sleeve.
The spindle hole is almost ridicuously tight, meaning that it hasn't really been put on a turntable very many times in its existence. You can be sure it will fit snugly on yours.
The front cover of the album has such a "new" appearance that you would think you are looking at something manufactured very recently. The album has retained its glossy sheen, and the colors remain deep and vibrant. On very close inspection the only minor flaws I can point out are two creases roughly 4 and 5 inches long, one on the bottom right corner and another very close to the top. Neither of which are very obvious. These are the only flaws that would mean the cover was not near mint. It remains Excellent. There has been absolutely very little fading if any. The cover shows some slight miscolouration on the back and a few tiny scuffs only on the corners.
Kaleidoscope were an English psychedelic and progressive rock group that existed from 1967 to 1969. Having performed since 1964 under the name The Sidekicks, they became The Key in November 1965, before settling upon the name Kaleidoscope when they signed a deal with Fontana Records in January 1967. The group consisted of Peter Daltrey (vocals, keyboards), Eddy Pumer (guitars), Steve Clark (bass, flute), and Dan Bridgman (drums). While the group did not achieve commercial success in its time, it retains a loyal fanbase and its recordings are remembered in high regard.
The band released two albums, Tangerine Dream in 1967 and Faintly Blowing in 1969. As the group moved further into progressive rock, and to avoid confusion with the American group Kaleidoscope, they renamed themselves yet again to Fairfield Parlour in 1969 and switched to the Vertigo label. The transformation saw no lineup changes. Under this name, they recorded and released From Home to Home in 1970. The last LP by the group was White Faced Lady, a rock opera recorded in 1971. It was shelved until 1991, when it was released under the band's original name Kaleidoscope.

Tangerine Dream is Kaleidoscope's debut album released by Fontana Records in 1967.
Though not as popular as the U.S. Kaleidoscope, this British band was also a band from the psychedelic movement with moderate domestic success, and just enough international exposure to have this album recognized in the genre's catalogue and regarded as one of the best in the same.
Now sought by collectors and highly acclaimed by critics and fans this album has been musically compared to Nirvana's "Story of Simon Simonpath" and Pink Floyd's "Piper at the Gates of Dawn".
Peter Daltrey, lead singer of the band was asked about the lyrics and the music of the album, and he wrote the following statement in the album's sleeve notes:
"The collective subject of our songs is simple, life and people. We have written our songs about you. Happy people, sad people, lovely people and a few confused people. We have written of the children, of the king and his queen, and we have also included a few words about ourselves, about our lives, about our loves and about our dreams".
