The LP has a gatefold sleeve cover. The photograph on the outside, which covers both the front and back, is in good condition. However, the edges are a little worn, and the spine is also worn in places, with several small patches where the actual picture has rubbed off with storage. There are slight scratches from wear on the outside cover that you can see under light, but not if you look directly at the cover. You will be able to see this on the photographs.

The front section of the gatefold sleeve has a small (2 cms) split in the seam at the bottom. The back section has a larger (9 cms) split in the seam at the bottom.

The inside of the sleeve is really good, with no flaws and all lyrics and comments perfectly displayed.

The vinyl has surface scratches due to removal from/insertion into the inner sleeve but, probably, less than you would expect for an album that’s nearly 40 years old! None of the scratches are at all major, and the LP plays well. There is a slight rumble between tracks, but this is not noticeable during the tracks, except for a second's silence during (Love Song) for Annie. There is one small noise on Poem, and a slight background click for a few seconds on Snapdragon.

Otherwise, all tracks are in Excellent condition. None of the above conditions, in my opinion, interrupt the enjoyment of listening to this classic album. I have owned this album for nearly all its life, so I know it hasn’t been mistreated (at least since the early 70’s). The album has not been professionally cleaned, and this may also enhance the listening. I have not tried to do an amateur job.

Please don’t get me wrong. The album and cover are not pristine, but the wear and tear, in my opinion, does not spoil its worth.

I may well be selling more albums from my collection in the near future. Unfortunately, I don’t have time to set up an ebay shop at the moment, so the odd auction will have to suffice. Keep your eyes open or contact me if you would like to be mailed when I have my next auction or if you want a list of potential sales! These potential items include Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Cocteau Twins, Cindytalk, Van Der Graaf Generator, Clear Light, Captain Beefheart, Gong, And Also The Trees, Kevin Ayers, Soft Machine, Matching Mole, Breeders, Pixies, The Cramps, Dif Juz, Throwing Muses, Fatal Charm, Hawkwind, High Tide, Khan, Nico, Pavement, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Red House Painters, The Sound, The Swans, Ween, and maybe many more, it depends how I feel!!!

Many thanks for viewing this auction. Please do not bid if you are not sure you want this superb album, but Good Luck if you do!
