Description

Here is an original and extremely rare copy of The Beatles PLEASE PLEASE ME.  A rare export only version of the first lp that was pressed for PX sales to troops/personnel based at army bases in West Germany.

It is on the red, white gold-rimmed Odeon label: ZTOX 5550

Matrix numbers: SHZE 117A-1 & SHZE 117B-1

Housed in a glossy, German-printed cover with non-gloss rear panel & complete with original Odeon advertising inner-sleeve.


Jacket is VG. Front looks great.  The original owner wrote his name and unit number on the A side label and back of the jacket.  Which is too bad, but reason for lower opening bid.  The disc is a reasonable VG COPY.  It pushes VG+, It has full gloss still, and was well cared for, but has a few visible marks on each side and plays nice but with some crackle and pop. In fact I just got an lp off ebay that the highly rated seller listed as VG++ and it was in a tad worse shape.  ANY QUESTIONS WILL BE HONESTLY ANSWERED. Want it but don't like my price? A great keeper copy.  All my LPs are graded conservatively and I only ship bagged, sleeved, and in real lp mailers - no cut up dumpster cardboard here.  Please feel free to ask any questions.
