WELCOME TO LILABELLE_BE RECORD AUCTIONS
Dear rock record collector , before you read the discription of this record , first THE STORY,
I just bought a HUGE , INCREDIBLE collection lp’s ( around 1000 ) and vinylsingles ( around 2850 ) from a famous Belgian radio dj .... , he was dj from the Belgian National radio station between 1965 and 1978 . In this time he collected all these “rare†vinyls,(keep in mind that this is his PRIVATE COLLECTION and not the radio collection !!) . When he came at home with his new stuff , he put the record on tape or his REVOX , reel to reel recorder and put all records in his huge bookcase ( record case ), they nearly never played more than once , he always listened to his tapes .... meanwhile he was also Salesmanager for Polydor Belguim.After 1978 he left his job and Belguim for what it was and went to work in Asia , he never bought any record after this period anymore , all lp’s stayed in Belguim in boxes in a dry room for nearly 20 years !
In this collection you gonna see nearly all first pressings in MINT or NEARMINT condition !
We talk about Progressive , Psychedelic , Folkrock , Beat , Folk , Jazz and Countryrock ... .
I am not going to give a list of what’s inside because this is too much work , i just gonna put every week new ones on aution, it’s a STUNNING collection !!! Everytime i gonna try to keep the discriptions brief , to the point and no 2 hours reading or psychological ploy to induce you into a state of mind numbness, the discription is what you get !!
One last thing , i guarantee all the conditions in my listings and offer a refund to any buyer who is not satisfied with my gradings , i’ve bought enough rubbish in the past that was over graded beyond belief ( as i’m sure you all have ), so i’am very aware of the need to grade correctly , i hope the foto’s below do this lp justice , as it truly is !

Rare DIFFR. FRENCH SLEEVE ON RED PYE LABEL !!
Ray Davies' sentimental, nostalgic streak emerged on Something Else, but it developed into a manifesto on The Village Green Preservation Society, a concept album lamenting the passing of old-fashioned English traditions. As the opening title song says, the Kinks — meaning Ray himself, in this case — were for preserving "draft beer and virginity," and throughout the rest of the album, he creates a series of stories, sketches, and characters about a picturesque England that never really was. It's a lovely, gentle album, evoking a small British country town, and drawing the listener into its lazy rhythms and sensibilities. Although there is an undercurrent of regret running throughout the album, Davies' fondness for the past is warm, making the album feel like a sweet, hazy dream. And considering the subdued performances and the detailed instrumentations, it's not surprising that the record feels more like a Ray Davies solo project than a Kinks album. The bluesy shuffle of "Last of the Steam-Powered Trains" is the closest the album comes to rock & roll, and Dave Davies' cameo on the menacing "Wicked Annabella" comes as surprise, since the album is so calm. But calm doesn't mean tame or bland — there are endless layers of musical and lyrical innovation on The Village Green Preservation Society, and its defiantly British sensibilities became the foundation of generations of British guitar pop.
