KENNY BURRELL "Blue Lights" RVG, P, LAM, Blue Note 1597 Mono Vinyl

This is the first edition, 1958, "RVG" stamped, Laminated Cover, P-pressing of KENNY BURRELL's "Blue Lights" on the "47 West 63rd" labels of Blue Note BLP 159. Musicians include Kenny Burrell, Louis Smith, Duke Jordan, Bobby Timmons, Sam Jones, Art Blakey.

VINYL plays with consistent low level surface noise (i.e, static, crackle, ??,????,relative to the volume of the music/instruments), with consistent pops and ticks, some of which are Loud, some repeating. But ensemble sections are very dynamic and strong, clean and powerful. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. Good gloss. Handful of hairline marks, couple feelable. (If you can't feel it, you won't hear it). The "47 West 63rd" labels are clean with spindle marks. See photos.

LAMINATED ANDY WARHOL COVER is IN EXCELLENT shape; spine and seams nearly perfect. "BLUE NOTE RECORDS, 47 West 63rd St., New York 23" shows wear and tape residue. Otherwise clean. Please see photos.

This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC AUDIO DESK SYSTEME VINYL PRO CLEANER.
