KENNY BURRELL Blue Lights BLUE NOTE Mono ANDY WARHOL
This LP is KENNY BURRELL Blue Lights Volume 2 and comes with a very clean Andy Warhol cover. There are some pressing information anomalies with this LP as Blue Note is apt to throw you from time to time: Blue Note BLP 1597 mono issue with the 47 W.63rd NYC address on the label with no copy write symbol beneath the"E" nor any deep groove. RVG is stamped in the dead wax, but with no "Ear", and is pressed on somewhat lighter vinyl. The jacket shows the 43 West 61st St. address also utilizing a slightly lighter gauge stock. It still remains a very clean and enjoyable sought after rare jazz LP with a killer line-up: Louis Smith, Junoir Cook, Tina Brooks, Duke Jordan, Bobby Timmons, Sam Jones, Art Blakey.
