Original UNRELEASED ACETATE 45 on the EMIDISC RECORDING BLANK lable cat# RM 17 Vintage 24th Feb 1969 !
A wonderful single that did NOT GET ISSUED!
~This is the AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL CUT RECORDING straight from the studio!~
Probably not any part of the 'Teenage Opera' project with Mark Wirtz, but an excellent piece in it's own right.
This track was apparently meant for follow-up to 'On A Saturday', and recorded at the same session with Jeff Beck, Ron Wood and (perhaps) Aynsley Dunbar. The strings help it along, and it's polished - but somehow, probably due to low sales of the previous single - sadly did not get issued despite all this. I rate the track highly, it's certainly a worthy track.
The tapes have resurfaced (or maybe from an acetate) to feature on a compilation CD for Keith West and Tomorrow (who had left by this time).
The top grooved side has Columbia's (EMI's) 'Emidisc' recording blank lable. The track could have been one of THE best 45's of the Sixties if it saw release!

The vinyl is in VG++ condition visually, EXCELLENT playing copy that's loud and clear. There's just a slight mist on the wax mainly in the run-out groove, but this is usual with acetates.
Sound-wise this is an EX or better.
The paper label is quite clean with only slight aging, with written title info (it is as would have come off the record press/cutter). The 'Emidisc' lable grades a very respectable VG++.
