Description

This rare artifact is an unreleased demo by the Los Angeles area band Games, cut at DCT Recorders in Hollywood. The band's only actual releases were the LP Stargazer and its single, "Feeling this Feeling"/"Don't Let Me Down," both issued in 1977 on the Cascade Court label. This 12" one-sided acetate contains five tracks, none of appear on those releases (see pics above for track list). We are guessing that it precedes Stargazer, but it may instead have been a final demo before the band broke up. According to the handwritten notes included, the lineup includes all the same members as appeared on the LP, including David Miller, whose untimely death caused the dissolution of the band. However, the printed cover that's included with the disc states, "Games is David Tatkin and Colleen Fitzpatrick." The disc is in VG+ condition with a few faint surface marks and excellent playback throughout. The audio linked below comes directly from the acetate:
