On offer here is one of the RAREST LPs you will EVER see (especially in this condition!!!!) by Kaleidoscope called "Tangerine Dream" and is an ORIGINAL 1967 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Fontana label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST LPs ON THE FONTANA LABEL (AND ONE OF THE RAREST UK PSYCH LPs EVER!) - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1967 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED, IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT THERE IS ONE VERY IMPORTANT DETAIL THAT MAKES THIS LP THE RAREST KALEIDOSCOPE LP EVER RELEASED - EVER!!!!  AND THAT IS THAT THIS LP IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - WITH 1 INCREDIBLE DIFFERENCE THAT ALL LATER ONES SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE!!!!  I WILL NOW EXPLAIN EXACTLY WHAT MAKES THIS LP SO INCREDIBLY RARE!!!! 

IN THE 1960s (FROM AROUND 1963 THROUGH TO 1967) ALL LPs MADE BY FONTANA HAD VERY DISTINCTIVE LABELS & VINYL.  THEY WERE ALWAYS MADE WITH A 'DOUBLE RIDGED' CENTRE HOLE, HAD EXTREMELY THICK QUALITY VINYL, AND HAD 'FULLY TEXTURED' LABELS!!!!  HOWEVER JUST BEFORE THIS LPs RELEASE IN SEPTEMBER 1967, THE DECISION WAS TAKEN TO UPGRADE ALL OF FONTANA'S PRESSING MACHINES.  THE 'HEADS' WERE REPLACED, AND AS YOU MAY ALREADY KNOW (BY LOOKING AT OTHER FONTANA LPs LISTED ONLINE) THE LABELS IMMEDIATELY CHANGED FROM THE 'FULLY TEXTURED' LABELS (USED ON ALL FONTANA LPs PRIOR TO  OCTOBER 1967) TO THE 'SMOOTH' FONTANA LABELS WHICH WERE USED FROM OCTOBER 1967 ONWARDS!!!!  AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT MAKES THIS LP VERY VERY SPECIAL INDEED!!!!  BECAUSE, IF YOU TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES OF THE LABELS - YOU CAN VERY CLEARLY SEE THAT BOTH LABELS ARE FULLY TEXTURED!!!!   AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  ONLY TRUE 1ST PRESSINGS BOUGHT ON THE VERY 'DAY OF RELEASE' EVER CAME WITH FULLY TEXTURED LABELS - BEFORE FONTANA DROPPED THIS LABEL STYLE, WITH ALL LATER COPIES BEING MADE WITH THE COMMON SMOOTH LABELS INSTEAD!!!!  AND SO - NOT ONLY IS THIS ONE OF THE ALL TIME RAREST UK PSYCH LPs IT IS POSSIBLE TO FIND, BUT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE WITH ULTRA RARE 'FULLY TEXTURED' LABELS!!!!  SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL, THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST KALEIDOSCOPE LP EVER RELEASED - AND ALMOST NEVER SEEN LIKE THIS TODAY!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE MUSIC ON THIS LP IS SIMPLY AMAZING - AND ONE OF MY PERSONAL ALL TIME FAVOURITE LPs OF ALL TIME!!!!  OK I SEE PLENTLY OF SELLERS SAY THEY LIKE AN LP ON A REGULAR BASIS (CLEARLY IN SOME WAY THINKING IT WILL HELP SELL IT?).  BUT IN THIS CASE FOR ME IT IS DEFINITELY TRUE!!!!  THIS IS ONE LP I NEVER GET BORED OF LISTENING TO!!!!  SUCH AMAZING MUSIC AND THIS BAND WERE DEFINITELY WAY AHEAD OF THEIR TIME!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT, BUT THIS LP IS STILL VERY PRESENTABLE INDEED (SEE ALL DETAILS BELOW) - AND PLAYS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANTLY!!!!  AND DESPITE A FEW SCUFFLINES ON THE VINYL (WHICH DO NOT SOUND IN ANY WAY AT ALL!) - THIS RECORD HAS CLEARLY BARELY BEEN NEAR A TURNTABLE!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1967 UK 'EARLIEST' MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'FULLY TEXTURED' FONTANA LABELS, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 1/1 MONO MATRIXES, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS FLIPBACK MONO COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!   This is the ORIGINAL Fontana UK 1st Pressing from 1967 and is SERIOUSLY rare in EVERY respect!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is TL 5448 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Fontana label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!! 

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO tears, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is still VERY bright & shiny looking indeed, and despite a few marks on either side - it plays absolutely SUPERBLY!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO nasty concentric marks AT ALL, only 2 or 3 VERY light hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  However there are 3 or 4 careless scufflines on either side (some are long) - and though these are clearly visible, they are completely NON SOUNDING, absolutely NOT deep AT ALL, and this record plays absolutely BRILLIANTLY!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is also great to find that the playing of the record is EVEN BETTER than the visual!!!!  It plays with NO pops, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO jumps, NO sticks, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must visually grade Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - though the playing grade is way WAY better than this at more like FULL Excellent!!!!  THIS RECORD PLAYS BRILLIANTLY!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press Flipback MONO Cover is in GREAT condition!!!!  It has NO sticker marks, some 'touching in' to the edges, NO edge splits, an EXTREMELY well done (and NOT immediately obvious!) spinal repair, NO sticker tears, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), NO ringwear, NO rubbing, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the unlaminated back is in GREAT condition with NO sticker tears, barely ANY yellowing AT ALL, NO grubbyness, NO rubbing, NO ringwear, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Good+ (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better!!!! THIS LP ESSENTIALLY STILL HAS A VERY PRESENTABLE COVER INDEED, AND DESPITE A FEW VISUAL DETAILS ON THE RECORD - IT HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL AND PLAYS ABSOLUTELY SUPERBLY!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE (ESPECIALLY AS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
