JOHN LENNON & YOKO ONO - 'UNFINISHED MUSIC No.1 - TWO VIRGINS'
Just a reported 5,000 copies of this, John & Yoko's first experimental recording, were produced but with possibly less being actually sold.
This superb, barely played exmaple is a UK 1st stereo pressing on the dark green Apple/Track Records label: 613012
Matrix numbers: SAPCOR 2 A-1 & SAPCOR 2 B-1
Stamper codes: 1/P & 1/P
Vinyl weight: 148g
Housed in a rare fully laminated 'Technink Ltd' printed MONO cover (i.e. with the text is on the front panel).
Complete with its original die-cut matt-black inner-sleeve.

An immaculate pair with just a single light spindle trail around the side 2 centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine, deep-gloss playing surface which are MINT & unmarked in strong daylight with nothing more than some faint, harmless inner-sleeve storage marks visible only on close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this outstanding disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: NEAR MINT
This copy has clearly been barely, if ever played and the sound is flawless and unworn throughout. No need to upgrade this one.
Cover: EXCELLENT
An extremely respectable example of this rare and fragile cover which retains and excellent whiteness all over. The front panel is clean & glossy with some of the usual laminate lifting towards the spine area but none is split or missing. The only other blemish is a pin-hole towards the upper edge. However, all corners and both opening edges are in perfect, unworn condition. The rear panel is as clean as the front and again has some minor handling wrinkles but no further significant or any major faults. Both seams and the unworded spine are all smooth, unstressed & unsplit.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with some minor storage wrinkling but no tears, writing or faint handling wrinkles but no writing, seam splits or missing paper.
