Description
John Lennon / Plastic Ono Band Orig 1970 LP Beatles
Apple PCSO-7124 Original Australian first issue Apple LP from 1970 with scarce lyric insert. Later issues had an inner sleeve instead of the insert. First issue also came with a fully laminated cover. And the early issues had heavy pressed LPs.
Cover VG++ (Some ageing but mostly to the spine. The lamination has preserved the cover quite well otherwise)
Insert VG+ (This is the extremely rare original lyric insert which was soon replaced with the inner sleeve. It is in nice shape)
Record VG++ (In great condition. Heavy vinyl as they should be)
What can one say about this great classic from John Lennon? A masterful piece of work. John sings his heart out and plays like a man possessed. Totally brilliant from start to finish. I believe it’s his best album.
This first issue is super rare. Believe me I’m not joking. The likelihood of finding another copy is extremely unlikely.
