John Lennon, Imagine, First Press Vinyl, plus poster, original inner & postcard.
A chance here to own a cool, original, complete copy of John Lennon's legendary Imagine vinyl in the way it was meant to be seen and heard!!
This one is from my own collection which I am now downsizing. It's been stored in an acid-free cover and box for the last few years and barely listened to by me.
It's in nice all-round condition, but here's a breakdown:
The sleeve is good, just a little age-related light creasing, mainly to the side opening and bottom rear. But nothing particularly bad. The bottom right is also slightly split across the bottom, but still holds in place (pictured). The original lyrics inner sleeve is good too, just a little expected creasing and a slight split of about two inches on one side. Postcard and poster are very good.
The vinyl labels are excellent - barely any spindlewear at all. The heavy vinyl is also very good visually, just a few very light lines. It plays clean all the way through.
The matrixes are YEX 865 - 1U and YEX 866 - 1U. PORKY / PECKO etched into the deadwax. Stamps are 1/ML(?) and 3(?)/HD.
Overall this is a nice copy complete with original parts. Thanks for looking.
