Description: 12" vinyl release LP byJohn Lennon- Imagine. Early(1st?) UK press- matrices- Porky YEX865-1U/Pecko YEX866 -1U . In front and back laminated sleeve. Complete with inner sleeve, poster and postcard. Record label and cat number : Apple PAS10004 Country of release: U.K Year of Release: 1971 Vinyl/Cover condition:VG+/VG. Vinyl is clean with only light brushing/surface lines only. Played majority of this today on my budget deck- and sounds great. No sticks, jumps or even repetetive clicks. Not much background noise betweeen tracks either. Plays a very solid VG to near EX. Cover is firm and square and has light to moderate edge wear and light corner wear and creasing. No splits. Very good, fully ledgible spine. Obviously no other writing, rips or sticker tears. Inner has feathering to top edge. Postcard is near mint, no faults. Poster is Ex- no rips,splits, writing , cellotape or blu-tac. Does not appear to have been used as a poster. Labels clean. Ive kept vinyl in a poly lined inner since i got it. Grading system: While I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL UNLESS STATED. PLEASE NOTE YOU ARE PROBABLY BUYING 30-40 YEAR OLD VINYL RECORDS THAT MAY NOT HAVE BEEN PLAYED FOR SOME YEARS- THEY MAY HAVE SOME SURFACE NOISE PARTICULARLY ON THE FIRST FEW PLAYS. IF YOU ARE THE TYPE OF PERSON WHO BUYS A 40 YEAR OLD RECORD AND LEAVES NEGATIVE OR NEUTRAL FEEDBACK (WITHOUT COMMUNICATING WITH THE SELLER) BECAUSE THEIR SUPER DUPER SENSITIVE LINN DECK HAS AMAZINGLY PICKED UP SOME SURFACE NOISE FROM A £5 RECORD THEN ID PREFER YOU DID NOT BID. I DONT NEED YOUR MONEY OR YOUR HASSLE- TAKE IT ELSEWHERE. I HAVE NOT SEEN A BETTER RETURNS POLICY THAN MINE ANYWHERE ON EBAY SO CHECK IT OUT AND BID WITH CONFIDENCE. NOW APOLOGIES FOR THE DELAY - here are Rc gradings!!!:: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN GOOD MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. ALL OVERSEAS ORDERS (AND SOME UK ) HAVE CORNERS REINFORCED.
