Description
This is a Capitol/EMI soundtrack double LP albums of music from "Imagine," the John Lennon documentary released in 1988. The songs span the two phases of his musical life, from his partnership with the Beatles to his work as a solo artist, from 1963 to 1980. There are also two unreleased recordings: an acoustic demo of "Real Love," and a rehearsal take of "Imagine" from 1971. In addition, "A Day In The Life" starts cleanly, without the applause crossfade used in the original version on Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
The title of this 2-LP set is, "Imagine John Lennon: Music from the Original Motion Picture" (C1-90803), and comes in a gatefold cover with photos inside taken from Lennon's life.
The records are in mint condition. The album set and cover are still factory sealed. The set has never been opened. Please see my photos.
This a rare and hard to find album, and an important part of any serious John Lennon collection.
