Description

Here we have the very rare second edition of Fahey’s Volume 2 in mono.
All but two tracks were re-recorded in 1967 and issued in the same “psychedelic” Tom Weller sleeve used for later pressings of the first edition.
Some copies had a red sticker to denote these were new recordings. This copy does not have that sticker, but the matrix confirms it as the second edition. This edition was only around for about a year before being superseded by the orange “woodcut" sleeve in stereo.
Sleeve is in remarkable condition for a non-laminated cover, with little wear and bright, unfaded colours. Top and bottom edges are a little frayed but not split. Inner sleeve is a generic, poly-lined effort.
Vinyl looks in top shape, with no obvious scratches or marks. I don’t have a turntable so can’t vouch for the sound quality, but this does look in very good condition.
