Description

Estate find.

Original 1964 mono issue, blue trident label (2nd label for this title), VAN GELDER stamped in dead wax, plain paper inner sleeve. 

Purchased from Big John Patton when he was a student at Concordia College in St. Paul, MN back in the 1970s. His autograph/signature in on the back cover near the top edge.

John Coltrane with Donald Byrd, Red Garland, Paul Chambers & Art Taylor.

Record is EX+ to MINT-: VERY SHINY & CLEAN with just a couple barely visible superficial inaudible visual only scuff marks which don't affect play. No spindle wear. Plays great!!!

Cover is VG+: small drill hole at top right corner; minor edge, corner & ring wear; otherwise clean & sturdy. No major splits.

No reserve.
