John Coltrane Quartet Plays Chim Chim Cheree 1965 OG Stereo Impulse


First stereo pressing from 1965 in beautiful condition all around. Orange AmPar Labels, Van Gelder stamp.


Sleeve: VG++

Would grade higher, except for three imperfections: sticker on upper left corner (maybe removable), spine printing is slightly shifted therefore overlapping front cover (printing defect not the result of flattened spine), and lastly laminate is slightly peeling on back cover near sleeve opening (I tried to capture all three imperfections in photos). Otherwise it’s a GORGEOUS sleeve all around!


Vinyl: VG++

Or higher. Both sides look and play beautiful. Virtually no marks or hairlines. Superb RVG fidelity!


Overall not a perfect copy but pretty darn close to it of this album from the classic Coltrane quartet at its peak!
