Description

About This Record. This is an original Super Dooper Rare copy of Joe Satriani 's first 12" EP entitled simply Joe Satriani.  It was recorded on a local Northern California label (Strange Beautiful Music), located in a studio in Berkeley in 1984 and very very few copies were pressed.  Rumor has it Joe paid for this on his credit card!  Very few copies have surfaced, and only one or two have sold on Ebay.  Check out the photos; the back cover notes that "Every sound on this record was made on an electric guiatar with the exception of the 'Killer Bee' vocals on 'I am become Death."  Yeah, there is a little heavy metal here and there, but rock, Psych and prog touches as well.  But anyone looking at this knows Joe, and probably wonders why they have never seen a copy before . . . That's because this item was a private pressing.  This is a TOP Copy!  No RESERVE!!!!!!!!!!!  Have fun, guys and gals!  Wright (oh, if you don't wanna wait for the end of my auction, I just saw another copy of this LP for a Buy-It-Now so you could go for that one).

Songs are:  Side 1:  Talk to Me, Dreaming Number Eleven; Side 2:  Banana Mango, I Am Become Death, Saying Good Bye.

The Vinyl:  Looks and plays NM+.  It was just cleaned on my VPI Record Cleaning Machine. (I bought this many years ago, recorded it to cassette tape, and have just played it a few times until tonight.  No problems.

Comes with original plastic baggie innersleeve and rice paper innersleeve.

The Labels: M-

The Cover: The NM-; light wear, very very sligh ring wear on back cover; very very minor stain in left bottom corner and same small age spot on front cover.  No other damage, like tape, writing, etc.  The Spine and Seams are in NM shape. Good luck!  I've stored this in a 3 mil plastic sleeve and 4 mil sleeve most recently since purchased 20+ years ago.

The Record will come housed in a 3mil or 4 mil plastic sleeve, so that if the secure LP record mailer box should happen to get wet, the LP probably will not.  I always remove the vinyl from the cover and package each separately in a safe manner that does not take you one hour to unpack without damaging the record!

Shipping. Shipping insurance and priority mail is recommended for domestic buyers; I CANNOT be held responsible for uninsured packages; international buyers contact me about what makes you happy. I am happy to combine postage for you to save you money. I refund excess postage

About Me: I've been a vinyl junkie for 35 years and I am serious about my records! I'm a collector, not a dealer, although I sometimes sell records to fund more vinyl purchases for me!  I'm SERIOUS about my records, so if for some strange reason you are unhappy with your purchase, please let me know and we can work it out.
