Tavasco & The Millionaires – S/T – Mid-South Records – Holy Grail Boogie / Disco / Soul LP – No Reserve
Released on Mid-South without a cover and only in a red disco 12†sleeve. High in demand and quite rare boogie lp that crosses over into all sorts of territory. Standout tunes for me are the dancefloor boogie cuts “Let’s Go Dancing†and “Be Yourselfâ€. Also two nice modern soul tunes “This is Love†and “Outrageous†as well as two rap tunes “President’s Blues†and “Rude Boys.†The group was recorded out of Jackson, Mississippi although they may have had a New Orleans connection. No reserve on this one so bid away but bid serious.
Vinyl: NM- / Sleeve: NM-
Records are graded following the standard format Cover/Vinyl and on the following scale: NM/NM-/VG++/VG+/VG/VG-/G+/etc. I do not use E or E- grading. I grade carefully and rarely give a NM grading.
