Great combo of two blue label Blue Note LP's in one package. Jimmy Smith's "Bucket" is an eighties Blue Note re issue with really clean vinyl (VG++). Nice sounding LP. A few hairline surface scratches but this record really plays Near Mint 95% of the times. The cover of bucket has some very minor wear and a 3" seam split on the upper right top. Can be taped and in the supplied new clear poly sleeve that comes with your purchase you won't notice. Play graded.
Art Blakey. Meet You At The Jazz Corner Of The World Vol. 2. 1970's pressing of this classic live LP recorded by Rudy Van Gelder in 1962. This is an excellent sounding pressing I am rating at VG+. Quiet vinyl with good dynamics with all analog mastering. A few light scratches that are inaudible during my play grading. You will not be disappointed in the sound of this. Has RVG Stereo in the run out groove. Some fairly serious cover damage near the bottom front on both sides of the LP with about 7 inches of scotch tape along the bottom of the cover. An old price sticker on the sleeve. A new clear poly outer sleeve comes with your purchase and you soon forget about the cover flaws. You get a cool vintage 1966 Blue Note inner sleeve that is a few years older than the pressing. Good price for a vintage RVG pressing.
