Description

“Cowhand’s Last Ride” and“Blue Yodel #12” by Jimmie Rodgers released on 78 rpm picture disc by RCA in 1933. This is the only picture disc recording by Jimmie Rodgers. Disc played by seller one time on each side with no skips or grooves repeating. Books $1,500 to $2,500 (mint) according to Jerry Osborne’s “Rockin’ Records” (2016). Some small cracks in plastic on each side due to age and material, but cracks are in plastic and do not extend through to other side as commonly seen in 78s made from shellac. Rare record authority John Tefteller said he has seen a few copies of this recording and all had cracks due to age and plastic material used. Used, sold as is.
