Description

Selling-up my extensive record collection. Lots of interesting LPs in the collection - do have a look at my other items, and there are new listings every week. I may have obscure things that you didn't even know you wanted!

I bought this second-hand, about ten years ago. Condition isn't fabulous, but pretty good. I hope my pictures give you any info you need, to work out how old this is.

Matrix Nos - disk one - side A - 6300#8 A//1 118(?) Side D 63008 B2 420 121(?). Disk \two - side B - 61300#9 A#//1 1 (and one more digit, might be 9?) Side C - 61309 B//2 420 112 (?)

Pictures are my own photos of the items for sale. Photos are part of the description, have a good look.

Cover - laminated inside and out - narrow margin around openings where lamination doesn't cover. Ring-wear, just taking the shine off the lamination, front and back. Small bend top right of front, and a few scallop creases. There's a little streak of heat damage to the lamination, about 2" long, going across the eyes of the third girl from the right. Back has bends at top right and top left, and a stain that looks like a sticker removal. There is wear to the corners. Spine is very good.

Records - have various light scratches, marks, fingernails, but nothing awful. I'll do a play-test on one or two sides, and add results to this listing.

Postage at cost within UK - £3.00 plus 50p for a proper record mailer Happy to do combined postage wherever practical.

I'm happy to send this overseas. See below for details, if bidding from outside UK - you need to know this stuff.

Dispatch will usually be "next day".

Collection in person is welcome.

I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.

They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.

This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices.

E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges, then do not bid.

International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme.

If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid.

International postage to the following countries will be shown (this is the latest list that I've seen - lotta countries!)

Australia Austria Belgium Bulgaria Canada Croatia Cyprus Czech Republic Denmark Finland France Germany Greece Hungary Ireland Israel Italy Japan Lithuania Luxembourg Malta Netherlands New Zealand Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand Turkey Norway Poland Portugal Romania Russia Slovakia Slovenia Spain Sweden, United States, Antigua & Barbuda Aruba Bangladesh Barbados Belize Bermuda Bolivia Brunei Darussalam Cambodia Cayman Islands Dominica Ecuador Egypt French Guiana Gibraltar Grenada Guadeloupe Guernsey Iceland Jersey Jordan Liechtenstein Macau Maldives Martinique Monaco Montserrat Nicaragua Oman Pakistan Paraguay Peru Reunion Saint Kitts & Nevis Saint Lucia Sri Lanka and Turks & Caicos Islands

International postage plus applicable customs charges will probably be shown to buyers in the following non-EU countries - E-Bay collects customs duty for the receiving country: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Russia and USA, and wherever else import duty is appropriate - e.g. Norway.

I WILL DEFINITELY NOT post to countries that are not included in the above lists, and I don't send to China.

OK, I did the audio test mentioned in the main listing - good and loud, on my posh hi-fi. Played all of side four, and whole of Voodoo Chile. Maybe a couple of crackles at start of side four, otherwise that side played perfectly. Voodoo Chile had a short patch around the middle where some crackles were audible, but they weren't loud. This is generally a very good sounding record, sounds just as it should. Incidentally, some records sound better on a good original, rather than in a modern re-master. Yes, you may get a jot more detail, but they always lose some of the original visceral impact, in exchange for some kind of clarity that one didn't particularly need. And this is one of those albums. It's a cliche to say , but new owner - play it loud!
