Description
Jimi Hendrix BAND OF GYPSIES. First pressing from 1970 on green Capitol label. Sterling sound, mastered by Robert Ludwig & Lee Hulko with initials RL and LH etched in the dead wax. Jacksonville pressing indicated by the "0" in the runouts.
Vinyl in VG condition with light marks that cause some background noise. Not noticeable once the music starts rocking. These green Capitol pressings are the way to go with this title, much better sound than the later Capitol issue or reissues!
Cover still in original shrink wrap with SEARS price tag still on the cover. There is a small slit in the shrink on the front cover and small area on the back where there is about a 1 inch hole in the shrink, otherwise shrink is solid all the way around. Most copies of this album are covered in ring wear, this one will look as new when shrink is removed!
