About This Record.  This is a very rare Jimi Hendrix LP for your collection.  Not only is a rare MONO mix, but it is the rare Canadian mono mix which is much rarer than other mixes because they were recalled and destroyed shortly after pressing, as substantiated rumors go.  See photos and detailed description.

Cover Condition.  Cover would be a strong EX to EX+ but the bottom seam in the gatefold cover on one side is taped.  Nobody has tried to remove the tape, but I certainly did not want to.  But it does look removable.  Otherwise, two corners have small to medium dings and wear, and one corner has light ding.  Nice gatefold cover . . . strong spine and top seam.  NICE

Vinyl Visual Condition.  The vinyl looks VG+ because of light paper marks and a few scuffs.  Side 1 has three short light stylus marks over the first songs that ticks in the second song for about 45 seconds.  All versions seems to tick in the spoke EXP song, just like this one too that ticks for the whole "song" lightly.  Rumor has it Jimi left the master tapes in a taxi-cab after a night out on the town, and that is the reason the first "song" EXP ticks even when there does not appear to be a mark.  That's why I like the Argentinian copy that lists, but does not play EXP. 

Vinyl Audio Playgrade Condition.    Side 1 would play EX but has three short light stylus marks over the first songs that ticks in the second song for about 45 seconds, same for first song while not a defect.  Side 2 plays strong EX; a few random pops and no problems.  50% plays near mint, 25% EX+, just a couple songs with bothersome stuff.  Nice!

Label Condition.  EX+.  Light spindle marks and light spindle hole wear.  No writing, stickers or residue.  Keeper labels.
