SMALL BUT MINTY RECORD COLLECTION BEING OFFERED OVER THE NEXT COUPLE WEEKS-! (1960s-80s....45s & LPs...Rock, early Punk movement,  etc).

JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE "AXIS: BOLD AS LOVE"  (Reprise #RS-6281)  Original Press on Tri-color reprise Label.
VINYL:   NM  (at first I thought this was another Unplayed store-stock record as 99% of every record from this entire                           collection so far has been.  After play-grading it (played fine), I examined in daylight and discovered three                           small scuffs or possible light scratches in the vinyl.  Obviously a disappointment not to be able to list this as                           a completely unplayed-store-stock LP, but by the same token, NM is not so bad either.  I'd like to say NM+                           but I believe NM- to NM is a safe realm to grade.
                         This collection we have is so pristine that this LP is so far the worst we've uncovered. It was probably                                       played once or twice (I suspect played once and recorded, and then played a second time on a more                          sophisticated recording device at some point later on), but like all the others, very well-cared for.  Original                          inner sleeve.
COVER:  EXC+-NM- w/SHRINK WRAP- The reason the grade isn't higher is because where the shrink wrap isn't covering                             the edge of the album, there is a hint of light wear there.   Additionally, on the front side, there are tiny little                             age spots you can see through the shrink wrap...sort of scattered here and there...around the edges                             mostly.   These spots are generally called age "foxing" and are on baseball cards, comics, etc as well                             as album covers.
                            I have seen this before on album covers.... even though you still have the protection of the                             shrink wrap  protecting the cover from outer physical wear,  there can just be an accumulation of age-spot-                             ing due to climate conditions or what have you-- even  in sealed albums.  In any case,  it                              really isn't precise or fair to call the cover mint even though it is not the shrink wraps fault...it had done its                             job protecting the cover from the greater physical wear common to covers,  but age-"foxing" as it is called                             is beyond what anyone can control  (although we must remain precise and grade accordingly).     
                             I tried to take several pictures- both with and without the flash. This tiny spotting is under the Reprise                              logo on the right side and around the price sticker are.  I understand most will regard this spotting as totally                              inconsequential in the grand scheme of things, but still, it is a rare album and must be pointed out.
