Description
Hello and welcome to what must be for me the hardest decision i have ever had to make!its either the vinyl goes or me partner, yes it was hard and the vinyl nearly won,but i still got me cds,so over the coming months i shall be listing some rare gems thats for sure. Now ebay have reinstated my account as i have prooved to them that i do in fact have these items in my posession and who iam we can now carry on with the auctions and every body has piece of mind, ebay are happy so that says a lot in itself
I will grade as follows Mint only sealed/Near mint/excellant/Near excellant/VG+ and if i have to vg but i do not believe any of my vinyl will fall into that category. Please note these gradings will come from record collector guide the only difference being they will grade a open lp as mint which to me is impossible ill only grade mint if its sealed, meaning the best grading ill give is near mint for a open lp.
All items will be sent in ultra tough mailers with liners that i have bought from soundswholesale and are brilliant.
All items will also be sent with a signature required on delivery,i cannot do it any other way as paypal policies do not allow this plus its much better for me the seller and you the buyer,i think you must agree.I only charge exact cost plus 50p for the mailer. Please note im happy to combine postage at exact cost to me plus 50p for mailers and liners.
Postive feedback will be left once posted with the tracker number detailed on it,i do not play silly games with feedback like a lot do on here and i would appreciate on reciept of your vinyl that you would do the same if you are happy, please if you are not contact me and i will try to sort it out, negative feedback really does not sort it you know.
So lets start:
Here we have 12"LP Jethro tull.Last offering of this as i been offered the starting price in me local shop.
Stand up.1st pressed.
Catologue number/ILPS 9103
Label/Pink island.With the white i
Matrix numbers/ILPS+9103+A2 Side one. This is where youll never find another like it its a true one off i believe and im told by a very respected dealer that he has never seen another like it and he offered me a very large 3 figure sum for it.
On side 2 theres no matrix number and the run off is half the size of side 1.So not only do you have Tulls rarest first press you have the above,i do not believe this will ever be offered to a market again. Please note theres no damage to the run off its as it was pressed at island many years ago and was like it when i bought it on release. This is monster rare make no mistake hence the high start price
Vinyl i rate Near Mint, its better than excellant so im going near mint it really is stunning.
Cover/Is near mint as well crisp clean corners it really is perfect along with the stand up in the opening gate fold.
This record is mighty rare as you all must know but with this miss press its got to be even rarer so id suggest bid now or weep later!!! and i believe my starting price is very fair indeed, especially when you consider this can sell for £250 as a normal 1st pressed.
if you want to know any more please let me know and ill answer within 24 hours, thank you for taking the time to read this and good luck if you decide to bid.
