Description

A 1st pressing of 'Living in the Past' on the UK Chrysalis label. Matrix 1/1/1/1. Etching - Porky/Pecko. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original faux leather outer gatefold cover printed by Cavendish Press Leicester. The gatefold cover includes a number of interior pages of band photos, lyrics and album details [all pages present]. Four of the interior pages are formed together to produce two record pouches - no splits.
Cover (Ex+) In absolutely pristine condition and I very much doubt a better example could be found. That fussy front cover is in perfect condition with only the very lightest signs of use. The entire cover follows this trend. Almost no wear - no signs of markings, creases or rips. The cover retains perfect rigidity and even the spine is immaculate.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb shape and has clearly only see light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of ultra light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. This is a George Peckham cut and boy can you hear it! Beautifully resolved audio, clear as anything through all frequencies. Interference is minimal we only detected a touch of lightest static in a couple of isolated moments. Very little all and very insignificant. It truly does show Jethro at their finest...
