1971 UK *1st PRESSING* LP
This barely played NEAR MINT 1st UK pressing from 1971 is on the green & red Chrysalis/Island label: ILPS 9145
Being a very early copy, both labels carry the 'Basing St..' address and white 'i' logo on the rims.
The disc is house within a fully textured gatefold cover printed by the 'E.J.Day Group'
Complete with its original printed lyric inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: ILPS 9145 A-1U & ILPS 9145 B-3U

Immaculate, vivid & clean with just a single spindle mark to each unworn centre hole.
Visual: both NEAR MINT
Both playing surfaces are completely unmarked & 'as new' in strong daylight and bear only a handful of barely visible wispy paper hairlines directly beneath halogen light. Both sides lie 100% flat when playing, with no dishing or warping.
Play: NEAR MINT
This disc has clearly been barely played and the sound throughout is clean & unworn. My single careful play check at volume also revealed no clicks, pops, ticks or any other such audible distraction or wear. A great sounding copy.
Cover
EXCELLENT
An extremely clean & strong example with completely unworn outer panels showing no ring or opening edge wear. The only significant trace of wear is a minor bump to the rear upper right corner but apart form that, there really is little to fault here. The inside of the gatefold is immaculate and all seams are unworn, unstressed & unsplit. the spine is clean & undamaged, with all text present, readable and undamaged.

EXCELLENT
Perfectly flat and uncreased with just a few faint age spots and a tiny 1.5cm seam stress to the lower seam.
