JETHRO TULL - 'AQUALUNG'
This 1st-class copy of perhaps their best known album is a UK 1st pressing dating from March 1971 release and is on the green Chrysalis label: ILPS 9145
Being a very early copy, both labels carry the 'Basing St..' address and white 'i' logo on the rims.
Matrix numbers: ILPS 9145 A-1U & ILPS 9145 B-3U
Stamper codes: 1/A & 1/T
Vinyl weight: 151g
The disc is housed within a fully textured 'E.J. Group' printed gatefold cover.
Complete with an original lyric, printed inner-sleeve.

A vivid, vibrant & unfaded set with just a handful of tiny, well-aimed light spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Extremely clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight with nothing more than a some harmless wispy hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal visible directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this rarely played copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: NEAR MINT
This superb sounding copy has received just a few careful plays on high-end equipment and my single careful play-check at volume could find no trace of any groove/play wear to any track or indeed any other audible distractions or wear throughout. you won't find a better sounding copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A fine clean & strong example which apart from a tiny speck of missing paper in the upper right corner of the front panel is completely unworn, undamaged & NM. All corners and both opening edges are sharp and unworn and the inside of the gatefold is immaculate. Both seams are unstressed & the spine is square and unworn with clean & undamaged lettering.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Flat & uncreased with a number of faint age-related spots, but no writing, seam splits or tears.
