between the Sun box and the 3 Bear Family sets, i don't believe any artist has been better represented anywhere. especially on vinyl. German vinyl at that ! so here is the 69-72 set. as each of the boxes truly has some amount of throwaway songs, i'd say this one has the least, and is most comprehensive in that his way is there from beginning to end.. he was in his element throughout this one as a country man. some of the songs on some of the records in this set have one of those "chick" noises that the needle finds at the same spot as the record rotates. they'd be very clean sounding otherwise this guy was one of the greatest. i read in a Lennon book that John got down and kissed his feet when he saw him at some function !
