Description

 This is an original, extremely rare test pressing of the song "Try Me Out" done by Jelly Roll Morton. Etched into the vinyl around the center label is - BVE49458-2 and V389113 A. This song is catalogued as a Fox Trot and was released as Victor Record V-38113-A by Jelly Roll Morton and can be found on some of the compilations done of his work.  This record appears to have never been played. It is in MINT condition. It has only a generic sleeve. It was recorded : 12th July 1929 by Jelly-Roll Morton and His Orchestra. Research shows that the members of his orchestra at the time were:  Walter Briscoe (lead tp); Boyd Rosser (solo tp); Charlie Irvis (tb); George Baquet (cl); Walter Thomas (as); Paul Barnes (as); Joe Thomas (ts); Jelly Roll Morton (p); Barney Alexander (bj); Harry Prather (bb); William Laws (d).
