Description
Nina Simone at the Village Gate, on Colpix 421. Original deep-groove mono issue is M-, no spindle marks, shows no signs of play, sounds magnificent. Excellent cover shows very light wear and aging, has a small tear in the upper-right corner of the rear cover slick, and a tiny bit of writing in the upper left corner. Upper-right corner of front has a 1/4" seam split, and there is a 1" crack in the seam paper at bottom center. A very pretty package, includes original Colpix inner sleeve, which is split down one side.
I am currently selling more than 20 original-issue Nina Simone records, including rare promos, Stereo copies, a sealed LP, a British test pressing, and a couple of rare juke box ep's, nearly all of it in superb condition, so check my other auctions.
GRADING
M- A flawless or nearly flawless record that appears to have seen little or no play.
VG+ Full gloss, some light marks. A very, very attractive record that has seen limited play and has been well cared for.
VG More marks and scratches, will have some surface noise, but still a playable record. Scratches may be fairly numerous, but will be light.
VG- Lots of marks and scratches but no gouges or major problems.
G+ and G Heavy wear and marks, plays through okay.
