Description

This is an auction for the wonderful Led Zeppelin 2 album. It has been owned by me since the 1st day of  release and carefully looked after. The light brown sleeve is in good condition for it's age. The spine is a bit tatty but most of the lettering is visible (see photos).
There are very few visible marks on the vinyl and the record plays very nicely indeed with only occasional surface noise/crackle. It has the A 2 and B 2 matrix marks along with the no. 588 198 stamped on the runout.  There is one very rapid 'jump' near the start of track 2 side one ('What is and what should never be') but it only amounts to part of a single syllable (" ?et away......"). There is a second, equally brief, jump later in the same track but they do not spoil the listening experience too much. There is no real visible sign to explain this. The sound quality is still great with an excellent dynamic range.... the bass sounds particularly good on my relatively modest hi-fi system. All-in-all the vinyl quality is what you would expect for a much loved and played record that is nearly 45 years old. It is certainly playable and a good listen!
The label is also in excellent condition with almost no spindle marks.... see photos.
I am NOT a record dealer or avid collector. I'm just a music fan clearing out some of my old vinyl. I believe my descriptions to be accurate and they are supported by lots of photos. Feel free to message me and I will give genuine enquirers my mobile no. via email if you wish to discuss the record at length. If you live near Colchester you are welcome to come and have a look/listen! Again message me.
