Description
Artist: JUNE CHRISTY
Title: “Something Cool”
Label: CAPITOL. Label is turquoise with silver text. Monaural pressing on medium thick vinyl. Catalog number is CL 1229.
Year: 1955.
Personnel: June Christy – vocals.
Accompaniment: Pete Rugolo and His Orchestra, including Art Pepper.
Condition:
DISC: Vinyl is gorgeous NEAR MINT, as clean as can be found. The playing surface is immaculate, with a high luster, perhaps played once. Plays flawlessly with superb fidelity. Labels are clean and pristine.
JACKET: Jacket is nice VG+ to VG++. Front is beginning to show a few traces of ring wear, and there is a moisture stain at bottom right corner. Original owner wrote at the top in very small neat lettering “Oct 10, 1966” and “Jazz Vocal.”
Reverse is signed “Hello Arnold – All the very best – June Christy.”
