Legendary 1960 Vox first edition, first pressing -- LPs in virtually like new condition!
RARE Original Edition, First Pressing of this legendary 1959 recording -- Vox VBX-15
Matrix includes RVG (Rudy Van Gelder) and -1 on each side (all first stampers!!!)
Vox original 1960 first pressing in unbelievable condition!!! All 3 LPs appear virtually unplayed (NM- to EX+), with only a few light sleeve-type superficial marks and a couple of very small and light spindle marks on a couple of the sides. If you've been looking for the best copy of this rare and incomparable set, you've found it! The LPs have been stored for the past thirty years in MFSL-type rice paper sleeves for maximum protection. The original printed paper inner sleeves are included and all look like new (except for one that has a one-inch split along the bottom near the middle). The original insert is sharp and completely intact, with only slight discoloring and a small check mark near the top. The LPs have all been play tested and sound gorgeous, with quiet surfaces, beautiful sound, and glorious playing! There are no scratches or signs of wear on any of the LPs, although a good cleaning is recommended. The original gold colored box is gorgeous and completely intact, except for some slight folding along one side, minor separation of the right and left front corners which is barely noticeable (and not visible at all when shelved), and some light shelfwear near the top edge. The front and back of the box are not connected, as if usually the case with Vox boxes of this era. The front of the box and the bottom right corner have some very minor and barely visible shelf type wear marks. If you'd like additional photos or have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. This set has been stored in a protective plastic sleeve (to protect against shelfwear) and between cardboard liners (to protect against ringwear) in a smoke & pet-free, climate controlled home. My father purchased this when it was first released and then carefully stored and protected it ever since.
