This is a very nice copy of the 1966 Beatles album Yesterday and Today. It is a 2nd State Paste over cover. The butcher cover is underneath and you can see Ringo's V neck sweater through the cover. The cover is in very good shape especially for its age. A least there is no writing on the cover.
Here is everything you need to know about the cover, though you can see it all if you look closely at the pictures. There is an approx 3/4" split in the upper right cover. The remainder of the upper seam and spine are in very good condition with no splits. The bottom seam has a 1" tear right in the middle. The cover has minimal ring wear and is barely visible. The rear cover has very slight ring wear on the left an top. There is a 1/2" tear in upper left rear corner. There is a small 1" brownish (water?) stain on bottom of rear cover. I am picking this apart so you can know exactly what you are getting but if you just look at the entire cover, it looks great, especially compared to what is out there. The inner sleeve has a split down one entire side and a 4" split on the other side. As for vinyl grading, I am not a pro grader. I would rate it as Side A is 3 of 5 and Side B as 4 of 5. Side A is good but there is a noticeable surface scratch in I'm Only Sleeping and a another in Nowhere Man. I played the record and it did not skip and I could not hear anything. And let's face it, the cover is what matters here. We could all buy a used copy of the vinyl at a garage sale for $5 any day of the week or even a nice copy at a record show for $10-15. Look closely at the pictures. There are no returns. I have been as clear as I could about this. I do not want anyone to feel like they got duped and I want no surprises. Sold AS IS. Ask questions before you buy. I am only selling because I upgraded to a slightly higher quality copy. This has a # 6 on the rear so I believe that means it is a west coast pressing.
