J.S. Bach Cello Suites Julius Berger 3 LPs Orfeo S 146 853 F
Cellist Julius Berger plays Cello Suites of J.S. Bach. A 3 LP set, this is a German stereo pressing on the Orfeo Label (S 146 853 F). All the records are dished and this does cause some vertical movement when playing one side (second side is minimal). This does not appear to affect the sound quality (tested using a Rega 3 with clear audio cartridge). The records are of immaculate appearance, and play and sound superb with a minimum of surface noise. The box laminate has rubbed a little and there is some damage to the top edge at the center. The notes are excellent.
