J.S. BACH St. Matthew Passion, Philips 33 1/3 Minigroove, 1939 Historical Recording on Palm Sunday in Amsterdam by the Concertgebouw Orchestra and Amsterdam Toonkunst Choir and Zanglust Boys Choir, directed by Willhem Mengelberg. This beautiful set includes 4 well preserved 12” LP’s, Book, Pamphlet, and Chorus Notes.
Note: Every single record that I issue for sale has been played on both sides to verify there are no scratches, skips, or echos. I do not sell records with defects. Most if not all the records I sell were produced in the 1950’s and 60’s, they are all in good recording condition minus the cardboard cover that has some wear (60-70 years old).
