BACH: Six Sonatas and Partitas for Violin Alone - Joesph Sziget (violin) - Vanguard 627/8/9. This is a three heavier vinyl record box set. The records have good sheen and sound great with only light background noise. One of the three records #628 has a warp or heavier flutter, it is a little bit more than one would like to see, however it does not affect the playback on my machine (there is no scrubbing or skipping). It mostly affects the outer tracks. The other two are very true and the set overall is very enjoyable. I would grade the set as being in VG++ or VG+++ but it does sound very nice. The box that houses the set shows light wear - I would grade it VG+++ it has a partially peeled advertising sticker on the lower front. there are no splits. The set include original innersleeves. I am selling a number of other classical records, they are all in very fine condition and from the same collection. Some look virtually unplayed and sound as nice as many other 50's audiophile pressings. I try to strictly grade these recordings using the Goldmine Record Guide system of V/VG/NM/M. I try to listen to the recordings that I list but am not also able to so sometimes the grading is a visual grading with good lighting and scrutiny.
